J. Scott Rodgers

Scott Rodgers leads multifamily development for Rainier Development Company ("RDC"), bringing more than 33 years of experience delivering apartment and condominium communities. As Senior Vice President – Multifamily Development at Crescent Real Estate, Scott helped lead three landmark projects: 2811 Maple, a 31-story, 177-unit ultra-luxury tower in Uptown Dallas; the 168-unit Crescent Residences in Fort Worth's Cultural District; and Vue West, a 310-unit community in Denver's Tech Center. Since 2001, he has worked on and off as an independent developer, totaling close to 15 years, including the Richman Ascension joint venture, which developed and sold more than 560 units in Dallas and Denver, and fee assignments for Hayman Woods, Provident Realty, Barge Properties and Granite Properties. Earlier, Scott was a development partner with CLB Partners and head of development at First Worthing Company. His multifamily foundation came at JPI Development in Austin, where he helped deliver over a dozen projects in three and a half years. Scott began his career in 1987 as an architect with Cooper Carry & Associates (Washington, DC) and in 1992 with Overland Partners (San Antonio). He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design (Architecture) from Texas A&M University and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. Scott resides in University Park, Texas
